Services connecting Clevedon Presbyterian Church to Kawakawa Bay and Orere Point have been held regularly since the 1930's.
The church serving at ‘The Bay’ and Orere Point are deeply involved in the support and well-being of their communities. Because the church has been the only place of continuous worship over the years, people from all denominational and church backgrounds are involved.
The church also supports a range of local and overseas mission projects including support for mission work in Nepal.
The Cottage at the Bay
The ministry and community work of the church is centred upon ‘The Cottage’ located at 5 Kawakawa-Orere Road. The Cottage provides a memorial garden at the front, and includes an Op shop as well as providing for regular preschool playgroup activities and a venue for discussion and study groups.

Responsible for the Worn Again Op Shop (behind the Cottage open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9.30am to 12.00pm) and Remembrance Garden at front of the Cottage.
